Since 2015, the ADC President, Dr. Maria Fernanda Quadros, and historian Nunziatella Alessandrini (CHAM – Universidade Nova de Lisboa) have been building a path to celebrate the historical and cultural heritage of Carvalhal, which began with the 2015 and 2018 colloquia.

Over the past years, ADC has promoted a range of cultural and scientific initiatives dedicated to the history and heritage of Carvalhal, with a focus on the Italian presence in the area since the 15th century. Below are the main activities carried out and planned.

LVT+Cultura Project

Under way until November 2026: Ruas com Sotaque (“Streets with an Accent”) — a collaborative, digital trail of the Italian presence in the municipality of Bombarral (16th–20th centuries).
