The tiles of this chapel bear the name of António Gambino: Leandro Antonio Gambino, from Genoa, steward of the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament of Carvalhal.

He lived in Carvalhal, as the parish confession registers (Róis dos Confessados) in the archive of the Church of Nossa Senhora do Loreto, in Lisbon, confirm. He was buried in 1788, probably in the chapel of Our Lady of Succour itself.
